The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD) estimates that 17.6 million people in the United States suffers from alcoholism or alcohol dependency, which is one in 12 people over the age of 12. Several million more people engage in risky drinking behavior. The NCADD reports that 20 million Americans have used an illegal drug in the past 30 days, and another 48 million are using prescription drugs for non-medical reasons.

Rihanna Slams Reports She's Sniffing Cocaine In New Video

Rihanna has slammed allegations she was using cocaine in a video she uploaded and later deleted on instagram, insisting she was simply smoking. The clip showed her at a table with what looks like a slim white tube in her hands. After the camera cuts to her friends, it comes back to Rihanna holding her nose for several seconds. Rihanna deleted the video after allegations she was using cocaine erupted, but an instagram user captured screenshots from the clip and posted on his page, calling Rihanna the next Whitney Houston.

Rihanna is however not having any of it. She got on the posters comment section to set things straight, writing; 'Nigga your lame ass got some f**king nerve!!! Any fool could see that's a joint that I'm basing with cigarette! Who tF snorts tobacco??!! FOH witcho "never been to a rodeo so someone squeezing their nose means they're doing coke" lookin ass!! So Sad! Baby Starves to Death 2 Weeks After Mother Died of Drug Overdose [Photos]

Nine-month-old baby boy, Casey Kessler, painfully starved to death in an apartment two weeks after his mother overdosed on drugs and died. His mother Sara, who had not been in contact with her family for almost a fortnight, is believed to have died a week or two earlier according to autopsy reports.

Sara's mother died of natural causes in the same apartment in November and no one else lived on their floor. The little baby was found dead in the living room of the flat in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, after a concerned relative visited the home.

Bobbi Kristina's Boyfriend Nick Gordon Reportedly Enters Rehab For A Drug Problem

Nick Gordon is finally willing to admit what many already knew: He has problems. According to FoxNews, the troubled boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown checked himself into rehab for drugs shortly after recording an interview slated to air on “Dr. Phil” next week, reports TMZ (although it is unclear what substances he is seeking treatment for).

During the interview — which is being referred to as an intervention set up by the host and Gordon’s mother — Gordon ranted about killing himself if the condition of the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown doesn’t improve.

They won’t be constant (at least, they shouldn’t be constant) but they will pop up from time to time. Sometimes though, these problems grow and become too big for the relationship to survive.

Before we start detailing some of the problems that you should be aware of, it is important to know that most of the time these problems are going to be outside of your control. All of the compromises and adapting you try to do will not solve them or magically make them go away. It’s a hard reality to accept but it is important that you do so. It might even literally save your life.

Bobbi Kristina: Family Releases Statement, Says Cops Found Drugs in House

Bobbi Kristina Brown is still unconscious but there may be more hope for her. Sources close to the family said the swelling on Bobbi's brain has been reduced and she has been able to "move her eyes" as oxygen levels have increased significantly.

Though doctors fear she may have suffered neurological damage after being under water for between two and five minutes, the sources say medics have recorded four times more oxygen in her brain than they did on Sunday.

Her family have also broken their silence and released a statement on Facebook.

A woman had been arrested in the Dominican Republic after airport officials noticed some capsules inside her stomach which turned out to be $70,000 in cash!

Along with the cash in her stomach and intestines, she had almost the same amount of money hidden in a suitcase she was carrying.

Jackie Chan Laments His Son's Drug Arrest, But Will Stand By Him

Jackie Chan, who was made an anti-drug ambassador in China in 2009, has expressed dismay over the recent arrest of his 31 year old son, Jaycee Chan, on drug charges. Jaycee Chan was picked up and detained last Thursday after 100 grams of marijuana was discovered at his home.

Police said Jaycee and another man found in his home, Taiwanese movie star Kai Ko, 23, tested positive for marijuana and admitted using the drug.

The legendary actor, took to his website today to express his sadness, shock and heartbreak over his son's behaviour and apologized to the public. He wrote;

Nigerians Campaign For Ebola Patients To Be Given Experimental Drugs Used For US Doctors

A graduate of Ebonyi State University Abakaliki, Obi Justina Ejelonu, was previously working at Otunba Tunwase National Peadiatric Centre Ijebu Ode in Ogun state. Last December, the young nurse volunteered to join a Facebook Group organizing free medical services in Aba to make it a success.

She then relocated to Lagos to work at First Consultant Hospital Obalande. This is the same hospital where first Ebola victim in Nigeria, Patrick Sawyer received treatment before he died.

Justina was among the nurses that cared for Patrick Sawyer. Last week she posted the following on the FB Group and has not been heard from since:

"I never contacted his fluids.i checked his Vitals,helped him with his food.(he was too weak).....i basically touched where his hands touched and dats d only contact.not directly wt his fluids.@a stage,he yanked off his infusion and we had blood everywhere on his bed.....but d ward maids took care of that and changed his linens with great precaution.everypatient is treated as high risk .....if it were airborne,by now wahala for dey.i still thank God."

Disturbing Video of Angelina Jolie as Cocaine and Heroine Addict Surfaces From Her Drug Dealer

Angelina Jolie has always been honest about some of the dangerous and dark things she did while younger, some of which are documented in many tabloids. In 2011 interview with 60 Minutes, she said;

'I went through heavier, darker times and I survived them. I didn't die young, so I’m very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn’t survive certain things. I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst. For many reasons I shouldn’t be here. You think of those too many times where you came close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken too far.'

Now, a disturbing video of an emaciated, dirty looking, Angelina Jolie has surfaced. The video has Angelina Jolie rambling on the phone in a dirty room, with dirty nails digging into her skin, and was acquired by the National Enquirer from convicted drug dealer Franklin Meyer.
